Recognized by Redbook, Parenting magazine and many others, Mindy Roberts is one of the most influential moms on the Internet and creator of TheMommyBlog.com, an irreverent online diary that gives visitors a bird's eye view of her rollercoaster life, including the ups-and-downs of motherhood. She’s also the author of the recently published, Mommy Confidential: Adventures from the Wonderbelly of Motherhood, which began in 2002 as a sober online journal that documented the near-death of Mindy's second child, but has evolved over the years into a hilarious diatribe centering around her chaotic life.

Mindy is a transplanted Chicagoan living in the San Francisco Bay Area with her three children who are eight, six and four and a half. She has ridden the bounty and collapse of the Silicon Valley high-tech industry, recently ended her 12-year marriage, and is now gainfully re-employed after a long career in the nonprofit sector. On the up side, she still has a portion of her sanity and is in love with a chef, writer, teacher and photographer. Mindy is writing her family's memoirs as they go along. She loves her children fiercely, lives and breathes technology, and tries her best to use her powers for good.
